Cleveland Air Show to host Batmobile and Batcopter for 2016

The “Roar on the Shore” is back and better than ever. The Cleveland National Air Show presented by Discount Drug Mart has all the favorites returning. This year’s very special guest will be the original Batcopter and Batmobile appearing for the very first time with all of their bat gadgets. Come see the Batcopter take to the skies as the Batmobile cruises the taxiway on Labor Day Weekend September 3, 4 & 5, 2016 at Burke Lakefront Airport in downtown Cleveland. The copter is a piece of Americana and will be piloted by Captain Eugene A. Nock, A.T.P. This original Batcopter (N3079G) is the same one used in the original TV series (1966 through 1968) and along with the props from the show the instrument panel has been autographed by the stars of the show.

Headlining the show are the U.s. Navy Blue Angels who will be joined by the U.X. Air Force F-22 Raptor Demonstration and F-35 Heritage Flight. The U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team are back as well. There will be demonstrations by world aerobatic champion Matt Chapman, Third Strike Wingwalking and more. The ground will shake and you will feel the heat from the Shockwave Jet Truck. On the ground will be numerous static displays that include tours of unique aircraft, meet a pilot encounters and a chance to pack a parachute.
