Playhouse Square presents the Beatles concert that never was

Imagine for a moment that it is 1980. It’s easy if you try. After a ten year break the Beatles reunite for one live concert in celebration of John Lennon’s 40th birthday. They take the stage and perform songs never before seen by a live audience.

On Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 8 p.m. the State Theatre at Playhouse Square will be the site of just such an event as the international hit show that took London’s West End and Broadway by storm comes to Cleveland’s Playhouse Square.

Let It Be brings Beatlemania back to Cleveland bringing the fab four together again on stage with songs that span the Ed Sullivan appearance through to Abby Road. Fans will get to hear such favorites as Hard Day's Night, Day Tripper, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Twist and Shout, Get Back, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Strawberry Fields as well as never before seen live versions of Back in the USSR, Live and Let Die, Got to Get you into My Life, My Sweet Lord, Hey Jude, and many more.

This original production originally opened in London’s West End in 2012 and has since totaled over 1,000 performances.

Tickets for Let It Be are priced at $49, $39, $29 & $10 (Smart Seats). Tickets may be purchased by calling (216)241-6000, online at www.playhousesquare.com or by stopping by the Playhouse Square Ticket Office located in the outer lobby of the State Theatre.
