Cleveland Charge reunite for a sweeping victory over the Wisconsin Herd

With nearly their full contingent back on the bench after a series of injuries the Cleveland Charge (10-8) handily defeated the Wisconsin Herd (6-14) 128-120 giving Cleveland a 4-0 sweep over the Herd this season.

Wisconsin pulled out with an early lead but once Cleveland got their rhythm they quickly overtook the Herd keeping ahead until the final buzzer. At times it looked as if the Herd would close in but Cleveland fought back to pad the score and keep them at arms length.

Jamorko Pickett earned a double-double and tied his career-high game total of 30 points as he hit for 11-of-18 along with 11 rebounds, three blocks and two steals in 40 minutes. Mamadi Diakite also posted a double-double of 23 points and 18 boards with five blocked shots in 33 minutes. Sam Merrill was raining threes as he scored 34 points with 6-of-12 coming from the arch in rapid succession as he was on the court for 29 minutes. Sharife Cooper added 17 points and five assists in 24 minutes and Nate Hinton scored 19 points with three steals in 39 minutes.

On the Herd side of the court it was Lindell Wigginton who led all scorers with 34 points on 6-of-12 from three point range in 38 minutes. Alize Johnson scored 25 points and grabbed 20 rebounds with two steal and two blocks in 38 minutes. Rob Edwards socred 26 points and 7-of-11 from the field and 4-of-5 from the free throw line.
