The Great Big Home + Garden Show brings a glimpse of spring to Cleveland

Wouldn’t you know it, after one of the harshest winter in years the Home and Garden Show rolls into town and the temperature nearly tops 50 degrees...go figure. Rest assured that you can bet that old man winter is not quite done with us just yet. Judging by the forecast you can bet that there is more freezing rain, snow, lake effect snow, snow showers, heavy snow and snow flurries as well as sub zero temperatures in the near future.

All the more reason to get in your car and check out the 2022 edition of the Cleveland Great Big Home + Garden Show presented by Carrier. The theme this year is “Turn to the Experts” and the show has plenty on hand. Just about any home project that you can dream up there is someone at the show who will make that dream into a reality.

This year’s show features a fully furnished JDM Modular Home, Weaver Barns Backyard Oasis, The Quint Living Experience, The Catalina and Sage Point Tiny Homes, Doggie Drive (homes for your favorite fur baby), ForeverLawn Northeast Ohio Putting Contest, Mermaid Staycation Selfie Station, Mont Bistro Bars as well as a Saturday, February 12th noon Main Stage appearance by Ty Pennington and appearances on Saturday and Sunday by Matt Fox.

Then there are the gardens. There are seven totally unique examples of landscaping taken to the extreme. This year the garden area is just inside the main entrance on the exhibition floor so all the details are well lit. Stop by and talk to the designers and get some ideas for your back yard projects. In all there are over 350 booths all geared to make your home look its best. Through closing time on Sunday there will also be dozens of expert talks given on a variety of subjects ranging from Bees, Creating Your Joyful Lifestyle, Shade Gardening, Remodeling Trends, Cooking Demonstrations and Stuff You Did Not Know You Needed For Your Home.
